Inflating-valves.-An inflating-valve for balls used in. games comprises a tubular valve member 7 slidably mounted in an indiarubber tube 1 closed at the lower end except for two discharge orifices 3, 3. The tube is provided with a shoulder 4 for holding the valve member in its open or closed position and is secured to the bladder 9 below a flange 6. A metal or leather washer 10 is arranged between the flange and the bladder to hold the constriction 5 at the top of the tube to its original size. A dished washer 12 covers the flange 6. The valve is operated by means of the pump nozzle 13 which is adapted to be screwed into a socket formed in the valve member.
