Abstract

273,870. Robbins, G. May 31, 1926. Traversers for shunting and loading mine tubs at the coal face comprises a frame 7, 8 which may be secured to the ends of some of the rails 12 of the permanent way. A wheeled trolley 13 runs between end stops 9 on the frame and carries tracks 18 for the tubs. The frame 7, 8 may be arranged at the extreme end of the tracks 12 near the coal face ,or at a short distance from the ends of the tracks so that the tubs may run beyond it.
