Abstract
273,211. Schaer, C. June 24, 1926, [Convention date]. Cylinders receiving liquid fuel. - The cooling medium for the fuel injection nozzle 6 has a low boiling-point and remains in the chamber 3, its vapour being condensed in the upper part of the chamber, which has a jacket 14 through which water is circulated. The appropriate, temperature of the nozzle for different fuels is determined by varying the boiling-point of the cooling medium by adjusting the relief valve 12. Oils or distilled water may be used. The chamber 3 is provided with ribs 11.
