Sectional boilers.- Each section of a boiler is made of steel plate bent, as regards the sides and top, to form a hollow substantially L- shaped body B, the edges of said plate being welded together to form a joint J which is positioned externally of the fire-box. A projection P is also provided on each section to form a seating for the adjacent section. The bottom member M of the section is preferably of rectangular section and provided with spigots for connection to the side members prior to welding. The boiler is completed by a front plate K and a strengthened rear section H having an inwardly extending baffle plate H<1> through which the water may circulate.
