Abstract

277,828. Simon, Ltd., H., and Ridley, J. H. Nov. 6, 1926. Pneumatic elevators.-Material is discharged from a pneumatic elevator by a series of oscillatable vanes d, e, f mounted within a cylindrical chamber a. The edge of each vane has a spring- pressed removable shoe i mounted therein. A rod l passed through the end walls m of the vanes is slidably connected at each end to rods k pivoted to a rotating crank disc j. Springs m are placed between the connections and abutments on the rods. The vane e may be pivotally mounted and retained in its normal position by springs.
