Driving arrangements for screw propellers. - Relates to engine and propeller groups for aircraft wherein the crank case drives one propeller whilst the oppositely moving crank - shaft drives another propeller and consists in the crank-shaft driving a variable-pitch traction propeller m whilst the crank case of the engine t drives a lifting propeller n through universal joints o. Either propeller drive may be braked and a clutch employed for the lifting propeller.
