Abstract
274,111. Erie City Iron Works, (Assignees of Bonus, G. Y.). June 15, 1925, [Convention date]. Water-tube boilers.-A boiler has front and rear banks of tubes 4, 5 connecting front and rear upper drums 1, 3 arranged in the plane of the water level with a lower drum 2, and an upper bank of tubes 6 discharging water from the front upper drum into the rear upper drum up or above the water level therein, and in a horizontal or downward direction. Steam passes from the front drum through the tubes 7 opening downwardly into the rear drum and returns through tubes 8 to a chamber 9 within or adjacent to the front drum. Specification 253,557 is referred to in the Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a). This reference does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
