260,804. Eyston, G. E. T. Dec. 23, 1925. Roots' blower type; mounting pistons on shafts.-An impeller for a rotary pump of the lobed intermeshing impeller type comprises a number of laminµ 4 clamped between end plates 5. The shaft 9 may have projections 10 fitting in recesses in the end plates 5 or extending through the laminµ. Fig. 3 shows a form in which a gear wheel 14 with a shaft extending therefrom is keyed on a projection 15 on the end plate 5.
