Abstract

Liquid composition comprising: one or more micronutrient selected from boron, zinc, copper, manganese, and magnesium; a component selected from a humate salt, fulvate salt, and mixtures thereof; and an oil carrier. The liquid composition may comprise: 1-50 wt.% humate and/or fulvate; 15-40 wt.% oil (e.g., vegetable oil such as rapeseed oil); 1-5 wt.% boron; 1-40 wt.% zinc; 1-15 wt.% manganese. A preferred composition may comprise colemanite, manganese carbonate, zinc oxide, rapeseed oil, and Borregro (RTM) HA2 comprising potassium humate and potassium fulvate; the composition comprising 3.6 wt.% boron, 6.0 wt.% manganese, 11.9 wt.% zinc, 11.8 wt.% combined potassium humate and potassium fulvate. The liquid composition may further comprise a dispersant, clay, colouring agent, and/or defoaming agent. Also disclosed coated fertiliser particle comprising a solid core and a coating composition as described at least partially covering the core. Also disclosed use of the liquid composition as a coating composition for a fertiliser particle.
