Torque extensions of axle structures.-In a bogie truck 9 the axles of which are driven through a shaft 7 flexibly jointed and made in detachable sections the worm gearing on each axle is enclosed in a casing 18 having a collar 21 concentric with the shaft 16: a sleeve 22 engages the collars 21 and serves as a torque member while permitting some relative movement between the axles.
