Abstract
A foldable landing net or drop net. The net comprises a frame and netting 7. The frame is provided with rings 6 which support stay ropes 5. H shaped brackets or hinges 3 are used to facilitate folding of the net for ease of transportation.
Description
TITLE
A Fishing Drop/Landing Net with hinged frames allowing the Net to Lock for use and fold in half for transportation
INTRODUCTION AND BACKGROUND TO THE INVENTION
The Net features a Bracket of who's base is cut into an H' shape, allowing the net frames to transverse by use of nuts and bolts into a locking/useable position inside the H' bracket and kept in place by gravity of the weight of the net and strain exerted by four guide ropes attached to all four corners of the net frame.
After use the net can then be folded in half for easy transportation by turning the net upside down pulling the frames sections together in the opposite direction.
ADVANTAGES OF THE APPLICATION
A Fishing Drop/Ldnding Net with a rectangular frame cut into Iwo sections.
The two frame halves are bolted through shaped H' brackets so that the net locks in one position (and folds in halt in the other direction) for easy transportation
