Abstract

A paint pot 1 with a moulded spigot allowing the vessel to be hung on a horizontal cross member 2, for example a fence, by passing the hanger between the vertical slats 3 of a picket or palisade fence to rest on the horizontal spar 2. The vessel can be hung from either the front or rear of the fence. The pot includes a handle on the opposite side to the hanger.

Background
Statement of invention
To overcome this, the invention locates the Paint Pot on the fence, by using a spigot which is passed through the vertical slats, and locates on the horizontal fence spars.
Advantages By having the Paint Pot attached at the fence using a locating spigot, it makes the task of painting the fence easier, quicker and safer.
Introduction to Drawings
The attached drawings show how the invention works.
Fig 1 shows the Paint Pot (1) attached to the (front) of the fence, by the spigot, passed through the narrow gap in the vertical fence slats (3) and located on the horizontal fence spar (2) the gap can be anything between 20mm up to 60mm.
Fig 2 shows the same operation but from the (rear) of the fence.
Detailed description
The Paint Pot has a moulded on spigot, which is attached to the fence by passing the spigot through between the vertical slats and locating down onto the horizontal spar. The fencing is a typical build Palisade or Picket style fencing from 3 feet and up to 6 feet high. The normal vertical gaps on a typical Palisade/Picket fence are anything between 20mm up to 60mm.
