Inductances. - A toroidal coil is formed by winding wire in helical turns arranged to cross each other as shown in Fig. 5, and bending the cylindrical coil so formed to form a complete turn as shown in Fig 1, or an incomplete turn. The turns of wire are spaced apart so as to form a self-supporting openwork structure. Specification 159,907 is referred to.
