Piston apparatus for discharging receptacles. - Apparatus for dispensing paste &c. comprises a container 1 fitted with a piston 4 which is connected by wires 11 to a spindle 7 rotatable from outside the container to raise the piston and expel the paste through a nozzle 10. The, spindle may be slidably mounted in the cover to close the nozzle when not in use.
