Abstract

The present invention provides a method of inkjet printing comprising the steps of: (i) providing an inkjet ink comprising at least 20% by weight of isobornyl acrylate based on the total weight of the ink, 15-30% by weight of an N-vinyl amide monomer, an N-acryloyl amine monomer and/or an N- vinyl carbamate monomer based on the total weight of the ink, a passive resin, a radical photoinitiator, and optionally a colorant; (ii) inkjet printing the inkjet ink onto a polypropylene or corona-treated polystyrene substrate; and (iii) curing the inkjet ink. The present invention also provides an inkjet ink comprising: at least 20% by weight of isobornyl acrylate, based on the total weight of the ink; 15-30% by weight of an N-vinyl amide monomer, an N-acryloyl amine monomer and/or an N-vinyl carbamate monomer, based on the total weight of the ink; 1 -9% by weight of a difunctional (meth)acrylate monomer, based on the total weight of the ink; a passive resin; a radical photoinitiator; and optionally a colorant.
