Abstract

The present invention relates to a tender assisted drilling system comprising a high-line system adapted to be placed on a tender vessel and an offshore platform onto which a drilling rig is arranged, which high-line system is adapted to transfer tubulars, in particular double tubular stands, between the tender vessel and the offshore platform. The invention also relates to a method for during a drilling process or during a tripping process transferring double tubular stands between a tender vessel and the offshore platform. The invention also relates to a method of installing such a tender assisted drilling system.
