Lighting, systems of.-In order to produce a coloured light suitable for use in signalling, advertising, cinematography, illuminated fountains, or the like, light is reflected by a reflector having iridescent coloured surfaces. A single source of light may be employed or each reflecting surface may be provided with a separate source of light. The coloured light may be projected directly on to the objects to be illuminated, or it may be merged into a beam of white light such as from a searchlight.
