Abstract

A fish farming system to be placed floating on a surface of surrounding water is disclosed. It comprises a fish habitat with a horizontally arranged, substantially ring- shaped water body for fish to live in. The ring-shaped water body in the habitat is preferably selectively isolatable from the surrounding water and kept in an adjustable flow along the ring in order to provide a virtually endless, streaming environment for the fish.
