Valves.-A hinged roof ventilator &c. comprises a glazed frame n having a downwardly and outwardly extending flange o hinged to a square frame f having two horizontal webs g, i, the top one having an oblique flange h. The flange o makes a water-tight joint with the webs h, i when closed. The panel may be hinged by pins q engaged in pieces brazed to the frame.
