Abstract

A pressurised grout applicator 1 is fitted with an electric motor compressor 10 which activates a mixer 6 and pressurises the container. Grouting mixture is forced under pressure to the applicator head 11 through a flexible tube 8. The applicator gun is fitted with a flexible tongue 13 mounted about the nozzle 12. The device may have a level reader 7 which allows the amount of grout in the container to be monitored. The container may also be fitted with a heater to produce heated water used in an automated self cleaning process.

Description

Automatic grout gun applicator and mixer This invention relates to a

tool and a method of applying or filling grout between tile spaces.

Grouting is an important part of finish in tiling, and this have proven to be more complicated, painful process and messy when it comes to apply or fill grout after tiling.

To overcome these problems, the present invention proposes a method and a toll in which grout can be mix or prepare and apply and or fill between tile spaces by an automated grout gun applicator. The automatic grout gun applicator is operated by a little electrical motor compressor which turns the mixer to mix or prepare the grout and inject air in to the unit and power by conventional electrical energy and fitted with a rechargeable battery. The gun applicator is mounted with a button to activate the suction of the grout that come trough the nozzle via a transparent flexible hose, the front of the gun is also mounted with a flexible tongue design to press and wipe at the same time the grout applied or filled between tile spaces by the grout gun applicator. Different size of the nozzles can be mounted to the grout gun applicator according to the space between the tiles and two grout gun applicators can be connected via a Y or T tube. A transparent level reader is integrated to the body of the unit to monitor the mixing or the preparation of the grout and a thermo start switch is fitted to heat the mixer which produce hot boiling water to self auto clean the toll and a button mounted on the top side of the unit is design to control or adjust the amount of air in the machine.

The automatic grout applicator is design to provide performance, minimise the stress and the waste of material.

Preferably the machine is fitted with a rechargeable battery.

Preferably the gun applicator is fitted with two flexible tongues to press and wipe the grout filled between the tile spaces.

Preferably the flexible tongue is twistable from left to right to suit all directions.

Preferably a thermo start switch is fitted to the unit to heat the mixer providing hot boiling water to self auto clean the tool.

Preferably a V or T tube is fitted to the unit to connect up to two grout gun applicators.

Preferably a button is fitted to the unit to control or adjust the amount of air in the machine.

The automatic grout applicator and mixer I is a composition of different parts such as the mixer 6 attached to the electric motor compressor 10 which mix or prepare the grout and inject air in the unit, a level reader 7 to monitor the grout remaining mix or prepare, a switch 3 to heat the mixer which produce hot water to self auto clean the tool, a switch 2 to operate the motor compressor, a Y or T tube II in which two flexible hose 8 and a grout gun applicator 11 can be connected, a nozzle 12 in which the grout comes trough, a flexible tongue 13 design to press and wipe at the same time the grout filled between the tile spaces, an arrow 16 to level the nozzle between tile spaces, a button 14 to activate the suction of the grout, an adjuster 15 to adjust the length of the nozzle 12, a button 5 to empty air in the machine and a cap 9 were grout and water can be filled for preparation.

little motor compressor, a rechargeable battery and power by conventional electrical energy turn the mixer inside the unit to mix or prepare the grout and produce pressurise air which help to activate the suction of the grout by pressing a button mounted in the grout gun applicator and the said grout comes trough the nozzle of the gun via a transparent flexible hose; the grout is then apply or fill between the tile spaces by the said nozzle and simultaneously pressed and wipes between the tile spaces by a flexible tongue mounted in the front of the gun, an arrow place on top of the flexible tongue help to align the nozzle of the gun with the space between the tiles for accurate filling, the length of the nozzle can be adjusted by a device placed under the grout gun applicator as well as different size of the nozzle can be mounted according to the space between tiles and two grout gun applicators can be connected to the machine via a V or T tube, a transparent level reader is integrated in the main body of the unit to help monitor the.
