Abstract
A tubular sleeve 2216 overlapping and coupling a joint between expandable tubulars has tapered portions 2220,2222 to protect the end portions 2214,2226 of the tubulars from damage and which may be formed from a sacrificial material to facilitate the insertion and movement through a structure 2232. The sleeve also has a flange 2218 for engagement in a recess of an adjacent tubular. One portion of the arrangement has a lower yield point than another portion. Also disclosed, the tubulars may be threadably coupled together at two spaced apart locations with a compressible seal located at the interface of the tubulars between the spaced apart locations.
