Stiffeners.-Relates to peaked caps of the military type, and consists in supporting the front portion of the usual wire stiffener c in the crown by a T-shaped member comprising blade springs d, e riveted or otherwise permanently fixed to each other. The ends of the horizontal member e are secured to the band of the cap by bifurcated rivets f or other means.
