Abstract

A bottle carrier comprises a base portion adapted to receive and retain the base of a bottle, a support portion connected to but spaced apart from the base portion and adapted to fit around an intermediate or upper portion of the bottle and a carrying arrangement by which the bottle carrier may be carried by a user. The carrying arrangement may allow the user to carry the device in a hands free manner. Either or both the base portion and support portion may be formed from flexible material. The base portion may be provided with a removable insert upon which, in use, the bottle rests with the insert increasing the rigidity of the base portion. When not in use, the bottle carrier may be put in a pocket.

DESCRIPTION
A practical hands free device for carrying bottles (500m1) and cans. Not bulky or cumbersome and not like a bag. Light weight and flexible material enabling it to go into a pocket when not in use. I have done extensive research world wide and nothing like it exists. There is novelty value as a fashion accessory. Also practical value for sports and day to day living especially when travelling.

Claims (5)

  1. Claims 1 1. A carrying device comprising: a base portion adapted to
    receive and retain a base of a bottle; a support portion adapted to fit around an intermediate or upper portion of a bottle, the support portion being spaced apart from the base portion and connected there to by a connection Arrangement: and a carrying arrangement allowing a user to carry the device.
  2. 2. A carrying device according to claim 1 wherein the carrying arrangement allows a user to carry the device in a hands free manner.
  3. 3. A carrying device according to claims I or 2, where at least one of the base portions and the support portion are formed from flexible materials.
  4. 4. A carrying device according to claim 3 wherein both portions and the support portion are formed from flexible materials.
  5. 5. A device according to any proceeding claim further comprising a removable insert which maybe placed in the portion, and upon which the bottle may rest. The insert being substantially "firmer" and increasing the rigidity of the base portion and upon which the bottle may rest.
