Abstract

241,813. Moore, W. M. April 29, 1925. Tapping.-Means for discharging benzine and like tins comprises a tubular barrel A provided with a double-pointed piercer C at its inner end and having two helical threads D, D<1> of increasing diameter extending inwardly from the piercer to form shoulders D<2> adapted to bear against the inside of the wall E of the tin; a dished metal washer K fitted with an indiarubber packing washer M is adapted to be screwed against the outer face of the wall by means of a thumb nut J. The barrel may be fitted with a strainer 0 and may be provided with a tap.
