Abstract

A wheeled luggage-like barbecue grill comprises a base 1, one or more baking plates 21 and 22, an upper cover 3, two U-shaped draw-bars 51, 52 retractably mounted in the base, and two supporting plates 41 and 42, the cross-section of each plate 41, 42 being L-shaped with the top of the vertical portion of the L-shape being pivotally connected to the side of the base so that when a plate is rotated to a folded condition (fig.4) the horizontal portion partly covers the upper surface of the cover 3. When the plates are in their extended positions they rest on the draw-bars 51 and 52. The base is provided with wheels 51 and 61.

FIELD OF TO INVENTION
The present invention generally relates to a barbecue grill' in particular; to a wheeled luggagliked barbecue grill.
BACKGROUND OF THE INVENTION

Claims (7)

1. A wheeled luggage-like barbecue grill including: a base; one or more baking plates disposed on the base; an upper cover capable of covering the upper surface ofthe base; two U-shaped draw-bars which are retractably mounted in the lower portion ofthe base so as to be pulled out to be gripped; two supporting plates respectively disposed at opposing sides of the base, wherein the cross-section of each supporting plate is L-shaped and the top of the vertical portion of the L-shape is pivotally connected to the side of the base, wherein when the supporting plate is rotated to a collapsed position, the horizontal portion partly covers the upper surface of the upper cover and wherein when the supporting plate is in an extended position, the horizontal portion is supported on the U-shaped draw-bar; and two wheels attached to one side ofthe lower portion ofthe base.
2. A barbecue grill as claimed in claim 1 further comprising: two connectors capable of connecting together the two supporting plates set on respective ends ofthe horizontal portion ofthe supporting plates.
3. A barbecue grill as claimed in claim 1 or 2 further comprising: a handle disposed in or on the front portion ofthe upper cover.

A barbecue grill as claimed in any preceding claim further comprising: a lower cover capable of adopting a locked position or an unlocked position, four supporting legs capable of being folded into a folded position close to the lower surface ofthe base, four locking components extending downwardly from the lower surface of the base to hold and lock the lower cover in the locked position whilst covering the four supporting legs in the folded position; and four supporting members capable of supporting and holding the lower cover in the unlocked position disposed substantially in the middle or upper portion of respective supporting legs.
6. A barbecue grill as claimed in claim 1, wherein the upper surface of a left baking plate is corrugated and the upper surface of a right baking plate or a grid is flat, wherein the left baking plate and the right baking plate or grid are disposed in a substantially parallel manner on the base.
