Abstract

A connector (1) is mounted onto electrical equipment (10) to supply/transmit electrical signals to the electrical equipment (10) and it includes an insulated housing (11), signal terminals for connecting to an opposing connector, a ground terminal (12) for connecting to a grounding terminal of the opposing connector, and a conductive pedestal portion (21) that is fastened together with the insulated housing (11) by conductive fasteners that also mount the connector to the apparatus. The ground terminal (12) and the pedestal portion (21) are electrically connected to each other by being formed integrally or separately with respect to each other.
