Abstract

An accessory for footwear that provides additional grip in icy or snowy conditions, comprising a platform with protruding aluminium studs that are held against the sole of the footwear by at least one velcro (RTM) fastening strap that passes over the top of the footwear. The strap is preferably made of rubber that may be fastened via a metal clip or noose.

Description

DE S C RIPTT ON
NONE SLIP SHOE STRAP
This invention is a strap that fits to the bottom of a shoe to help a person to maintain a firm grip on the road in wet and icy conditions.
The strap will fix to the sole of the shoe with two velcro straps that weave through a metal noose/clip and fasten on the back ol'the velcro.
At the bottom of the shoe strap is the base, This is the platform on which everything builds around. The base has four smal] aluminium studs attached to it.
l'he purpose of these studs is to break through the elements such as ice or snow and grip the road surface to create a safe and solid walking motion, and also reduce the risk ol'slipping or falling.
The purpose of this invention is to help people get from one place to another safely without slipping or tolling in icy or snowy conditions.
The shoe strap will be made out of rubber so it can stretch to fit any size or shape of shoe.
Figure I Shows the straps undone and from Top view.
Figure 2 Shows top view again but withe the velcro straps done.
Figure 3 Shows how the none slip shoe strap fits on a shoe.

Claims (4)

  1. I A None Slip Shoe Strap, with a base in the middle, 4 aluminium studs attached to the bottom and 2 velcro strips across the top, altogether which will serve its purpose of maintain" a solid grip in icy or snowy conditions whilst walking.
  2. 2 A shoe strap as claimed in claim 1, where the 4 aluminium studs dig into the roads surface to provide a solid non-slip movement when walking.
  3. 3 A shoe strap as claimed in claim 1 or claim 2 where the shoe strap will fit any size of shoe and most styles of shoe.
  4. 4 A shoe strap as claimed above and made from rubber to keep it flexible and light on the shoe.
    A shoe strap so simple yet effective as described and illustrated in the attached drawings.
