Abstract

A device for collecting leaves that fall from a tree, the device comprising a collar that fits around the trunk of a tree and is secured with a clamp. The device may have clips that clip over the collar, the clips having a portion with a screw thread. Preferably, rods are provided with a screw thread which corresponds to that of the clips so that the rods can screw onto the clips. Each rod may have a number of hooks which retain a net. As leaves fall from the tree they are collected by the net.

Description

TIDY TREES

This invention comprises of a Circular Adjustable Collar which fits around the trunk of a tree. This collar has a clamp fitted to the end of it which is used to fasten and tighten the collar. Also supplied are four Screw Tops that are hooked between the Circular Adjustable Collar and the tree trunk. Once the clamp is tightened, the Screw Tops will become secure.

Four x 4 foot Screw Rods are supplied which are screwed onto the said Screw Tops.

2 foot extension rods will be available as required.

Each 4 foot rod has 3 small hooks positioned 2 foot apart underneath the rod.

A net which is provided in four sections is then hooked onto the rods in four separate parts. Extra hooks will be supplied with the net.

As the leaves fall offthe tree, they will be collected by the net. When the net is full of leaves, the net can be unhooked by the trunk of the tree and the leaves disposed of tidily.

This alleviates the problem of having a messy garden/ driveway/ pavement/ road.

A specific embodiment of the invention will now be described by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: Figure 1, shows the Circular Adjustable Collar with Clamp.

Figure 2, shows a Screw Top which will fit in between the Circular Adjustable Collar and the tree trunk.

Figure 3, shows a rod that will screw onto the Screw Tops.

Figure 4, shows 2 foot extension rods available as required.

Figure 5, shows an adjustable net that will hook onto the rods.

Figure 6, shows in perspective, a tree with the TIDY TREES constructable device positioned around the tree trunk.

Claims

1. A Circular Adjustable Collar that fits securely onto a tree trunk by use of a Clamp.

2. Rods that are screwed securely onto the Collar by means of Screw Tops being used.

3. A Leaf Collecting device substantially as described herein with reference to figures I and 2 of the accompanying drawing.

3. Nets that will attach to Rods by means of Hooks, which will then collect leaves once fallen from the tree.

4. 2 foot Rods can be used to expand constructable device according to the span of the tree.

5. Extra Hooks provided with net, for reason claimed in claim

4.

Amendments to the claims have been filed as follows 1. A Leaf Collecting device comprising of an Adjustable Collar, Clips, Rods and Hooks which are attached to the Rods also allowing a net to be attached.

2. A Leaf Collecting device comprising of a Collar as claimed in claim I, where the Clips attach to the Collar. Each Clip and Rod having corresponding screw threads for engagement with one another.
