Abstract

A spinning top has a body (1) and a stem (2), whereby the stem (2) is movable between a first position in which it lies substantially parallel to the body (1) and a second position in which it extends through an opening (5) formed in the body (1), in a direction generally perpendicular to the body (1). Preferably, when the stem (2) is in the first position it is carried on or in the body (1).
