Abstract
A choice of paints, e.g. emulsions, acrylics, or oil based, each pre-mixed to match the varying colours and textures of different bricks, masonry, tiles, stonework or mortar that have constructed a building. The selected paint may be applied to a blemished surface by means of a brush or any suitable method, forming an opaque coating. Also described is a colour match card printed with different paint colours to aid selection of the desired colour to match the colour of brick, stone, masonry etc.
Description
The following is a description of the idea/product I wish to patent: Brick
Match is a selection of matt paints, colour coded to match various types of brickwork, stone or tiles which may be cosmetically applied to cover drips or splashes of other paints which have spoiled the appearance of a building.
i.e.: when years of painting white gloss around window frames has resulted in the brick reveal being covered in white paint one resolves the problem by touching-in with a matching brick and masonry colour paint to restore the wall to original condition.
Also a take home colour match card (Match-bck) so that one could match the brick/stone/tile type of one's house before purchase.
Claims (2)
- I. A selection of paints, pre-mixed into containers to specifically match the colours of different types of exterior bricks, tiles, stone or mortar for the purpose of covering drips, splashes or strokes of paint that have spoilt a building's appearance.
- 2. A colour match card, printed with the different paint colours to compare with the brick, tile, stone or mortar colours of a building.
