Abstract

A protective barrier 1 protects a user from sharps when removing a rubbish bag from a bin. The device is preferably formed from plastic and curved into an arc with a lifting and carrying handle 2, hand access opening 3, side guide and guards 4, base for support and stabilization 5. The device can be placed between the user and the bin bag when removing the bin bag from the bin.
