Abstract
The invention presents a bottle assembly for magnetic nail varnish 1 comprising of a bottle 10 and a cap 11, inside which is a brush 13 for applying the varnish, characterised in that said bottle assembly is also fitted with an integrated magnet 15 to activate the varnish after application. The magnet may be fitted on the cap, attached to the top of the cap or fitted to the bottom of the bottle. The magnet may be inserted in a seating 14 and attached by gluing, snap-fitting or the like. A cradle shaped projection (16, Fig 4) with an outwardly facing concavity designed to be placed in contact with the base of the nail during use, so as to keep the magnet at a correct distance from the nail varnish and prevent smearing, may be provided at an extremity of the magnet, or at an extremity of the seating of the magnet. The bottle and cap may be cylindrical in shape and the magnet may be circular, rectangular or any other geometrical shape.
Description
BOTTLE ASSEMBLY FOR MAGNETIC NAIL VARNISH
DESCRIPTION
The present innovation relates to a bottle for magnetic nail varnish.
Specifically, the innovation relates to such a bottle with an incorporated magnet.
"Magnetic nail varnish", namely nail varnish containing ferromagnetic particles, has recently been introduced onto the market. Unlike conventional nail varnishes, this type of varnish generates special effects, such as patterns or designs, on the nails. As a result of the action of a suitably polarised magnet, l1eld at a short distance from the varnish applied to the nails, the ferromagnetic particles are arranged to form the desired patterns.
Different types of nail varnish of various colours are on sale, and are activated by differently polarised magnets, depending on the patterns to be created. Said nail varnishes are usually presented in a container similar to that of conventional nail varnish, namely a glass bottle with a screw cap also fitted with a brush for applying the varnish.
To obtain the desired effect, the nail varnish needs to be "activated", as stated, by holding the magnet at a short distance from the varnish for a certain time. The magnet is generally sold separately, or in different packaging.
This gives rise to a number of drawbacks. Firstly, tile nail varnish cannot produce its effect if the magnet is lost, or left elsewhere. Moreover, the magnet, which must be kept at a short distance from the nail varnish, often conies into contact with it, causing smearing which requires the varnish to be reapphed, and also requires replacement of the magnet, which is generally used for several different types of nail varnish.
it would therefore be convenient and advantageous to have a nail varnish bottle fitted with an individu& magnet which can be Used with tile varnish contained in the bottle to which it is fitted, without the risk of smearing.
The purpose of the present imiovation is therefore to provide a bottle for magnetic nail varnish which eliminates, or at least reduces, the drawbacks of the
prior art.
The bottle for magnetic nail varnish according to the invention presents the characteristics listed in the annexed independent claim 1.
Advantageous embodiments of the innovation are described in the dependent claims.
The invention consists of a bottle assembly for magnetic nail varnish comprising a bottle and a cap containing a brush for apphcation of the varnish, wherein said bottle is also fitted with an integrated magnet to activate the varnish after application.
The n1agnet can conveniently be fitted on the cap of the bottle.
Advantageously, at one extremity of the magnet seating there wiill be a cradle-shaped projection, namely a projection with an outward-facing concavity, designed to be positioned in contact with the base of the nail, so as to hold the magnet at the correct distance from the nail varnish and prevent the risk of smearing.
Further characteristics of the innovation will become clear from the detailed description that follows, which relates to embodiments described by way of example but not of limitation, and illustrated iii the annexed drawings, wherein: figure 1 is an exploded perspective view of the bottle assembly according to a first embodiment of the innovation; and figure 2 is a front view of tile bottle assembly illustrated in Fig. 1 in the dosed position, showing a partial cross-section of the cap.
figure 3 is a view from above of a bottle assembly according to a second embodiment of the innovation; figure 4 is a front view of the cap of the bottle shown in Fig. 3.
En the description that follows, the same reference numbers will be used to denote the same or similar parts.
Figures 1 and 2 show a bottle assembly for magnetic nail varnish 1, comprising a cylindrical bottle 10 and a cap 11, which is screwed onto a threaded neck 12 projecting from the top of bottle 10. The cap is fitted in a known way with a brush 13 designed to apply the varnish.
According to the embodiment of the innovation illustrated in these figures, a recessed seating 14 in the top of cap II is designed to house a magnet 15. Figure I shows a circular magnet, wluch is inserted into a circular seating. Magnet 15 can be attached to cap 11 by glueing, snap-fitting, force-fitting or any other appropriate technique.
The magnet can be fitted in another position on the cap, for example laterally, instead of being fitted to the top of the cap as in the embodiment shown in the figure. More generally, the magnet can be attached in any position to the bottle, while still remaining within the scope of the innovation. In particular, the magnet can be fitted to the bottom of the bottle.
A bottle assembly for magnetic nail varnish 1 with integrated magnet is thus obtained, thereby providing a kit containing all the items reqLured to apply the nail varnish and obtain the special effect typical of magnetic nail varnish after activation with the magnet, which is suitably polarised, depending on the pattern to be obtained.
Figures 3 and 4 illustrate a second embodiment of the bottle assembly according to the invention, which differs from the preceding embodiment in that magnet 5 has a rectangular rather than circular shape. The magnet can obviously have any other shape.
Moreover, in said embodiment, at one extremity of seating 14 of magnet 15 there is a cradle-shaped projection 16, namely a projection with an outward-facing concavity designed to be placed in contact with the base of the nail durthg use, so as to keep magnet 1 5 at the correct distance from the nail varnish mid prevent the risk of smearing. Projection 16 can obviously also be fitted to the bottle shown in figures 1 and 2, or to any other type of bottle according to the invention.
With the bottle according to the invention, after the varnish has been applied to the nails, there is no need to retrieve a separate magnet to activate the varnish: it is sufficient to place the bottle, or just the cap with the magnet, on the nail. By placing cradle-shaped projection 16 in contact with the base of the nail, magnet 15 is kept at the correct distance to activate the varnish, and prevented from coming into contact with tile varnish and causing smearing, as often happens with the magnets of the prior art which are separate from the bottle. Moreover, cradle-shaped projection 16 fitted to the bottle cap allows magnet 16 to be placed in the correct position to obtain the desired effect.
As stated, different effects can be obtained, depending on the polarisation of the magnet, such as longitudinal or transverse streaks, geometrical patterns, etc..
Although the figures illustrate a cylindrical bottle, the bottle can have any appropriate shape, depending 0 tile desired patterns, while still remaining iii the ambit of the innovation. Equally, the cap can have a different geornetric& shape, such as square, triangular, etc., and the magnet fitted to it can have the same shape.
The innovation is obviously not limited to the particular embodiment described above and illustrated in the annexed drawings; numerous details thereof could be modified by one skilled in the art, while still remaining within the protective scope of the innovation, defined by the claims set out below.
