Abstract

A subsea valve actuating device (100) is disclosed. The device includes an electric motor (102) for actuating a valve (104), and sensing means (106) for sensing parameters of the motor and/or the valve and/or actuator The actuating device also has communication means (108) for communicating sensed parameters to a remote location, and power supply connection means (109) for connecting the device to a power supply.
