Abstract

A slide assembly includes a first rail 10 connected with a stop 16. Alocking member 22 is movably connected to a second rail 12 slidably connected to the first rail 10, and has a slide slot 28 and a contact slot 30, along with an inclined guide slot 42 located relative to the slide slot 28 and a positioning leg 44 contacting an inside of the contact slot 30. A pin 46 is movably connected to the slide slot 28 with a part located in the guide slot 42. In use, movement of the locking member 22 guides the pin 46 along the slide slot 28 to a position where the pin 46 is engaged with the first stop 16 locking the second rail 12 to the first rail 10. A third rail 14 may be slidably connected to the second rail 12. The slide assembly is suitable for installation in a limited space such as an electronics equipments room.
