Abstract

A safety joint 1 for a baby stroller by setting a safe distance between two tubes when folding, comprises essentially a base 11, which joins a front supporting tube 2 and an upper tube 3, two connecting units 12, each connecting to an end of the base 11, and a first and a second cap 13, 14. The front supporting tube 2 and the upper tube 3 are engaged with the corresponding connecting units 12 and can be fastened by a rivet or screw. The base 11 includes a recess 110 disposed on both ends thereof respectively for receiving the connecting unit 12, and a block 113 is provided in between. One side of the base defines a first groove 111 for receiving the first cap 14, and another side defines a second groove 112 for receiving the second cap 13. Installing the joint can avoid a child's hand or fingers being crushed when the baby stroller is folding.
