Abstract

A calorifier (110) for containing heated fluid comprising at least one inlet (118) and inlet valve (120), an outlet (116), means for detecting the level of fluid in the calorifier (110), control means (132), and level detecting means (124,130), in which the control means (132) controls the one or more inlet valves (120) in dependence upon predetermined criteria including the volume of fluid contained within the calorifier (110).
