Abstract

A support for a garden hoe comprises legs 9, 10 attached to a lower bracket 3 by means of pivot 8. The bracket is swivelable through 360º about base 2. A housing 11 is attached to the top of the legs by means of a bolt 12 allowing pivoting action of the housing with respect to the legs. A hoe with a shaft 17 is inserted into the housing and is about to rotate 360º about the longitudinal axis of the shaft. The support allows a user to stand in a more upright position whilst using considerably less force to move and break up the soil.

Handle bars welded to sleeve 19 equal in diameter to housing 11. o that 19 can slide over the hoe handle shaft 17 and is fixed in correct position by means of bolt 20.
