Kinematograph apparatus; optical-projection apparatus.- Projectors for stationary or kinematographic images in natural colours are provided with shutters having arcuate slits to break up the projection period for each image. The shutter may comprise three slots 12, 13, 14 of equal length, exposing successively images 10<A>, 10<B>, 10<c>, or two sets of such slots. The slots may overlap and may be of unequal length. They may be of such width that two or more images or exposed wholly or in part simultaneously, and the shutter may be formed with a portion serving as a masking blade during the film shift and with portions serving as compensating blades. Several forms of shutter are described and illustrated in the Specification. The Specification as open to inspection under Sect. 91 (3) (a) comprises also the use of the shutters in projectors for stereoscopic images. This subject-matter does not appear in the Specification as accepted.
