Description
SHOOTING ANGLE ADJUSTING DEVICE FOR PHOTO ARMS
FIELD OF THE INVENTION
[0001] The present invention generally relates to a shooting device, and more particularly to a shooting angle adjusting device for photo arms
DESCRIPTION OF THE RELATED ART
[00021 Conventional three-dimensional (3D) image photography is operated with a single photo arm, which carries a camera to different locations along a circular path around a rotation center. The camera takes pictures row by row along the circular path to finish a 3D image photography. However, this approach takes time.
[0003] For example, if the camera is used to create a 3D photography for a photographed object on a turntable, at 0', 30', 60' and 90° shooting angles along a circular path respectively, the photo arm should carry the camera to the position at 0° shooting angle on the circular path first, then the turntable turns the photographed object around for a 360° rotation, so as to finish taking images at the 0° shooting angle. Thereafter, the photo arm should carry the camera to the positions at 30°, 60' and 90° shooting angles on the circular path respectively and the turntable should also complete a 360° rotation at each shooting angle accordingly.
Finally, all created images are composed into a 3D image by a stitching software.
[0004] Such a 3D image photography is time-consuming from the camera moving to different locations for the photographed object turning around.
SUMMARY OF THE iNVENTION
[00051 The present invention is directed to a shooting angle adjusting device for photo arms.
A plurality of photo arms that fixed on a fixing stand are all installed a camera and having the same rotation center, and each photo arm along the same circular guiding mechanism can slide to a desired shooting angle. Thereby the cameras are carried to different locations along the same circular path. Then the cameras can take a multiple rows picture for a photographed object on a turntable simultaneously by only a single 360° rotation and then either a 360°, hemispherical or spherical 3D image creation can be done quickly.
[0006] A plurality of photo arms are held on a fixing stand and at least a circular guiding mechanism, such as a circular guiding slot, a circular guiding rail or a circular guiding bar, is disposed on the fixing stand for carrying the photo arms to slide circularly. Hence, the cameras installed on the photo arms can take pictures at different shooting angles along the circular path.
[0007] The approach for holding the photo arms on the fixing stand may practice as single holding block with circular guiding slot type, double holding block with circular guiding slot type, rotating shaft and holding block with circular guiding slot type, double circular guiding bar type, co-axis parallel type, sliding block with tunnel type and holder sliding type.
