Abstract
The stationery holder 1 can attach to the cover of a book 6 or ring binder by fastenings 4,5 which may for example be hook and loop fastenings, or pop fasteners. One part of the fastener 4 (e.g. the hooked part) is attached to the stationery holder, and the other part 5 (e.g. the loop pat), is attached to the book cover. The stationery holder 1 may be flexible, allowing it to be rolled up when removed from the book and tied in a rolled up position (see figure 7). Alternatively the holder 1 may have a rigid back. The stationery holder has pockets for holding pens, pencils, rulers, etc.
Description
Detachable Stationery holder The invention relates to a stationery holder that can attach and detach to the cover of a book or ring binder. When drawing or writing it is often useful to be able to change the type of pencil or pen or to use another type of equipment that the user would find useful for their current needs.
The invention is a stationery holder that can attach and detach to the cover of a book or ring binder and provides the storage capacity for a wide range of drawing/writing equipment..
To give the user freedom of choice when it comes to all their drawing or writing needs the invention is a stationery holder that attaches to the covers of a book or ring binder so the user has quick and accessible access to a variety of equipment that will suit their current needs. The stationery holder is detachable so can be attached to another book or ring binder if the user requires.
The invention will now be described solely by way of example with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: Figure 1, shows the front of the stationery holder with compartments for storage of drawing/writing equipment; Figure 2, shows the back of the stationery holder with hook and loop tape, Figure 3, shows the stationery holder being attached to a book or ring binder using hook and loop tape, Figure 4, shows an alternative embodiment in which the stationery holder is being attached to a book or ring binder with pop fasteners Figure 5, shows an alternative embodiment in which the stationery holder is being attached solely to one side of the cover using. hook and loop tape. Figure 1 shows part 2 fixed to part ito create vertical compartments which can be of vaiying sizes to store a wide variety of drawing or writing equipment or other equipment that the user may find useful for example a ruler or calculator.
Figure 2 shows the reverse of the stationery holder with hook or ioop tape attached (part 4), the generic book or ring binder (part 6)has the counterpart of the hook and loop tape (part 5) fixed to its cover.
Figure 3 shows the stationery holder can wrap around the cover and attach by means of the hook and loop tape (parts 4and5).
Figure 4 shows an alternative embodiment in which the stationery holder has an alternative attachment method. Pop fasteners (part 7) are attached to the stationery holder and the counterpart of the pop fasteners are fixed to the cover of the book or ring binder (part 8). The stationery holder can wrap around the cover nd attach by means of the pop fastener& Figure 5 shows an alternative embodiment in which the stationery holder only attaches to one side of the cover of a book or ring binder. Hook or ioop tape is fixed to the back of the stationery holder (part 4), the genetic book or ring binder (part 6) has the counterpart of the hook and loop tape (part 5) fixed to its cover.. The.tatiiDnery holier can fix to one side of the cover of a hook or rin&binder (part 61 by means of the hook and loop tape. The stationery holder can be fixed in any orientation the user requires and specifically for ring binders it can also be attached to the inside of the cover.
Figure 6 shows an alternative embodiment in which the stationery holder only attaches to one side of the cover of the book or rinbinder w lletneattadunimt nethAxL Pop.fasteners4part 7aze macbed to the stationery holder and the counterpart of the pop fasteners are fixed to the cover of the book or ring binder (part 8). The stationery holder can fix to one side of the cover of a book or ring binder by means of the pop fasteners (part 6) the stationery holder can be fixed in any orientation the user requires and specifically for ring binders it can also be attached to the inside of the cover. - Claims 1. A Stationery bolder that wraps around and attaches and detaches to the outside of both covers of a book or ring binder which stores the stationery on the outside of the covers and can allow the book to still be opened and closed.
- 2. A stationery holder according to claim 1 where the stationery holder is attached using hook and loop tape.
