Abstract

A disposable lavatory applicator or brush is substantially formed from dissolvable chemicals comprising powdered detergents. The detergents can be fused with other agents such as disinfectants, sugars, and other substances which facilitate bonding under low, medium or high pressure within a mould. When the brush contacts water it disperses/dissolves, and sanitizes the lavatory pan before being flushed away. The complete unit is constructed to allow for disposal within the lavatory pan, with no parts needing to be dismantled, or separated immediately after use and before flushing. The handle may be coated with soap and the brush head may include harder substances such as naphthalene nuggets to enhance abrasiveness.
