Abstract

A lance 50 for high pressure jetting of tubes of a heat exchanger core, comprises two or more tubes 52, 54 having an outer diameter sufficiently small to fit between the tubes of the core. A coupling 56 connects both tubes 52, 54 to a common high pressure supply line. Nozzles 62 on the tubes emit jets of water for cleaning the outer surfaces of the tubes. The tubes 52, 54 may have an outer diameter of no more than 6mm, and bracing elements 58, 60 may be welded between them to connect them together.
