Abstract

A vessel to prevent the spilling of fuel consists of a flexible recipient 2 and an inflatable ring 1. The vessel is placed underneath a vehicle fuel tank in an emergency and serves to contain leaking fuel, preventing it entering the environment. It would appear that the inflatable ring 1 floats on top of any fuel that enters the vessel. The vessel may also be used as a dog bath or fish pond.
