246,026. Rodanet, C. H. H., andEtablissements E. Jaeger. June 23, 1925. Addition to 246,025. Dashboard lamps. In a lamp for illuminating the instrument board of road vehicles in which the cap of the opaque casing enclosing the lamp bulb is provided with light openings and with one or more external reflectors as described in the parent Specification, the cap is adapted to act as a switch for the lamp on being angularly displaced. In one form, the cap d<1> has a longitudinally slotted tubular extension l having a lateral notch engaging a fixed pin n and is adapted to be turned by means of the milled edge of the reflector j so as to bring the lower edge of the extension into or out of contact with a resilient blade u connected through a cap b with one terminal of the ramp bulb.
