Abstract
A bracket may be affixed to a structure, which may be a wall or fascia board of a building. Said bracket may be attached via bolts or screws and may have a pair of projecting members that are orthogonal to a wall of the building. Parallel to and spaced apart from said wall may be a rubber lined / backed member against which a ladder may be leant. Said member may be angled to mirror the preferred angle at which a ladder is safely leant. An angle guide may be provided. A plurality of strengthening ribs / bars may be provided between the ladder rest member and the flat member affixed to the wall. Threaded clamping means may be provided to clamp a ladder in situ.

DESCRIPTION
The Slip-NOT Secure Ladder Restraint has been designed to be fitted to a building structure where regular ladder access is required.
It acts as a permanent secure position for setting ladders, correcting alignment, securing at high level and acting as a stand off-all in one device.
The Slip-NOT Secure Ladder Restraint offers following features for any ladder user:- 1. One Person access facility 2. Sideways movement protection 3. Backwards movement protection 4. Clearance of the ladder from decorative/sensitive building fabric such as windows, gutters, fascias and asbestos containing material 5. Operation of the bracket ensures the desired three points of contact on the ladder at all times 6. Guidance for correct ladder angle positioning 7. Totaleaseofuse 8. Ensures strict control of ladder use on site by ensuring pre risk-assessed access points.
The brackets are designed primarily for use on commercial buildings where the property manager has a duty under the Work at Height Regulations to provide safety equipment.
The brackets are made in 40mm x 10mm steel, stainless steel and aluminium, steel brackets are polyester powder coated as standard in white (RAL 9010) or in ten optional finishes, the clamps are a 60mm stainless steel holders with nitrile rubber anti-slip pads and stainless steel handles. The resting bar of the restraint has an anti-slip rubber pad.
The brackets will be bespoke and sizes varying to offer the correct restraint for the intended purpose.
Drawing A (Accompanying page 3) shows the bracket design with strengthening supports on the resting bar, the optional angle guide (set at 750) to align the bracket and the stainless steel grips, rods and handles that adjust to suit a wide range of trade ladders and lock the ladder once in position.
