Abstract

A kite control line organiser comprises a plurality of bobbins <B>3</B> or spools onto which individual control lines from a kite can be wound. The spools <B>3</B> are rotatable around an axis <B>5</B> by virtue of handle <B>4</B>. A plurality of guide holes 2 are positioned near the plurality of spools <B>3</B> to guide the line onto the spools <B>3</B>. The whole device can be held by handle <B>1.</B>

Description

Kite Control Line Storage Organiser This Invention relates to a device for storing and organising the control lines to kites.
When kites are not in use the control lines are often stored on the control bar When preparing a kite for flight the control lines are laid out from the control bar and can often become tangled. The user has to untangle the lines before attaching to the kite before safe kiting can commence. When finished the lines need to be stored tangle-free for future use.
To overcome these problems, the present invention proposes a storage device by keeping lines separate by rolling onto the hand held device by means of line guides and storage bobbins.
The invention will now be described solely by way of example and with reference to the accompanying drawings in which: Figure 1: shows the unit with storage bobbins, line guides, handle and winder Figure 2: shows a side view of the invention.
In Figure 1, the hand held unit consists oVa handle I of which a tube 5 is attached with holes 2 for lines to be threaded through to perform as line guides to store onto bobbins 3 by attaching individually at 6.
Once the lines are attached, Handle 4, can be used to manually wind several control lines at the same time and stores individually on bobbins 3 without tangling.

Claims (2)

  1. Claims 1. A kite line storage organiser for storing multi-kite control lines individually and simultaneously upon rotating bobbins that can be hand held and operated.
  2. 2. A kite control line storage organiser according to Claim 1, in which by means of storing control lines individually and simultaneously can be used for feeding and laying control lines out tangle free ready for next usage.
