COMFORTABLE INSOLE FOR DANCE FOOTWEAR
DESCRIPTION
SUMMARY
The present invention relates to insoles used in dance footwear manufacturing. The comfortable insole for dance footwear, which is the object of the present invention, consists of the following elements: a perforated insole (1), a supporting bead (2), a front insert (3), a back insert (4), adhesive lining (5); said elements being adapted to make the above mentioned insole particularly comfortable and efficient. The comfortable insole for dance footwear is designated to be positioned just under the inside lining of the shoe, directly touching the foot sole. Advantageously, the insole of the present invention may be used in the manufacture of ordinary footwear and work footwear (see STANDARD EN345 SIP) as well as shoes for winding down after sport activities.
DESCRIPTION OF THE IVNENTIQN
It is an object of the present invention to provide a comfortable insole for dance footwear.
The above mentioned insole relates to the manufacturing of footwear, either for men or women, to be used in dancing and consists of specific components whose nature and particular position ensure comfort and efficiency to said footwear.
The insole, which is the object of the present invention, may be used advantageously in the manufacture of ordinary footwear and work footwear (see SThNDARD EN345 SIP) as well as shoes for winding down after sport activities.
According to the prior art, inside the insole of dance footwear, both for men and women, an insole, just a few millimetres thick, basically made of rubber foam is provided.
The insoles used so far in the manufacture of dance footwear exhibit the following drawbacks and disadvantages: -Conventional insoles exhibit a progressive loss of resilience if continuously used and tend to lose their shape permanently; -Dance footwear provided with conventional insoles prove to be uncomfortable, stiff and they strain feet enormously.
The aim of the present invention is to overcome or reduce the above mentioned drawbacks.
Said object is achieved by the comfortable insole for dance footwear characterized by what set out in the Claims here below.
Further features and advantages can be better understood
with reference to the following description of a
preferred embodiment which is to be considered in all respects as illustrative and not restrictive and to the drawings, in which: Fig. 1 is a front view of the inside of the present invention; Fig. 2 is a cross section of the above mentioned insole.
With reference to the above mentioned figure, the comfortable insole for dance footwear consists of: a perforated insole 1, a supporting bead 2, a front insert 3, a back insert 4, adhesive lining 5.
On the front of the perforated insole 1, a slot having the same perimetric length as the front insert 3 inside said slot is provided.
The shape, size and position of the front insert 3 allow a comfortable support for the five metatarsal heads and the big toe.
Underneath the perforated insole 1, just proximally to the supporting areas of the second, third and fourth metatarsal heads, a supporting bead is positioned so that the lower part of the supporting bead 2 is flush with the lower surface of the perforated insole 1 not directly touching said supporting bead.
On the back of the perforated insole 1, a slot having the same perimetric length as the back insert 4 inside said slot is provided.
The back insert 4 is oval in shape and sized and positioned so as to allow the heel to be easily and comfortably supported.
Under the assembly made up of the perforated insole 1, the supporting bead 2, the front insert 3 and the back insert 4, the adhesive lining 5, having only one adhesive side touching the above assembly, is fixed; said adhesive lining being suitable to ensure the tight bonding of the four above mentioned elements which make up the afore mentioned assembly.
The adhesive lining 5 has the same perimetric length as the perforated insole 1.
The supporting bead 2 has substantially the same shape as an irregular ellipsoid having maximum height 4-5 mm, maximum length 40 -45 mm, maximum width 30 -35 mm; said supporting bead consisting of a mixture of polyester, viscose, polyethylene, EVA copolymers, silicone and polyurethane.
The perforated insole 1 consists of evalux (EVA) and shows a plurality of through-holes 6 having a diameter smaller than 1 mm.
The front insert 3 and the back insert 4 are made of polyurethane foam.
The perforated insole 1, the front insert 3 and the back insert 4 have substantially the dame thickness, usually ranging between 2,9 mm and 3,1 mm.
The comfortable insole for dance footwear is designated to be positioned just under the inside lining of the shoe, directly touching the foot sole.
The comfortable insole, object of the present invention, used in' the manufacturing of dance footwear offers the following advantages: -the supporting bead 2 prevents forward slipping of the foot and ensures a balanced weight distribution on the five metatarsal heads, which guarantees comfort and stability to the foot; -the anti-shock material used for the front insert 3 and the back insert 4 is capable of resuming its original characteristics even after long use which results in foot comfort and in a high degree of flexibility and efficiency of the insole, object of the present invention; -low incidence of the manufacturing costs of the comfortable insole on the total manufacturing costs of the footwear the insole is applied to.
