Abstract

The present invention provides a file folder 1 with a decorative button 2. The button consists of a cover and a base and is attached to the string 3. Between the cover and base are placed protective and decorative lamella; the cover has a window, through which the decorative lamella can be viewed. Users can change the decorative lamella in the button base to identify and enhance the appearance of the folder. The button may be slidable on the string or may be mounted on the cover of the folder (fig 6).

BACKGROUND OF INVENTION

1. Field of the Invention

The present invention relates generally to a folder, and more particularly to a file folder which has innovative design of decorative button base.

2. Description of Related Art

In most offices, a large amount of tiles are reviewed or distributed frequently. Most files are stored or safekeeping in file folders.

The most commonly used format is folio folder, which has clips or inner case. Files can be placed inside the folder, so that users can carry around or review the tiles easily. If the files are thick or in large amount, loose-leaf binders are mostly used, which allows the users to review or store files easily.

Also, for convenience of filing, the outside of folders can be labeled with stickers, so that users can identify the types of data stored in the folder through the labels. However, the conventional structure has the following problems in actual use: 1. Although the folio design allows for convenience in reviewing files, the files may easily slip out from the opening or the opening may often flip open, then cause inconvenience in carrying.

2. The folders are manufactured to be the same specification, thus, all folders look the same besides having different colors. Therefore, when there is a number of folders, users would have a difficult time differentiating the types of folders, especially personal folders. Because files may be exchanged among folders, the labels outside of the folder are not suitable for usage.

After pasting and peeling off for a number of times, the appearance of the folder may be ugly, thus, making it disfavored.

Thus, to overcome the aforementioned problems of the prior art, it would be an advancement if the art to provide an improved structure that can significantly improve the efficacy.

Therefore, the inventor has provided the present invention of practicability after deliberate design and evaluation based on years of experience in the production, development and design of related products.

ST.ThARY OF THE INVENTION According to the present invention there is provided an apparatus as set forth in the appended claims. Other features of the invention will be apparent from the dependent claims, and the description which follows.

The improved effects of the present invention are as follow: j 1. The inside of the button base 2 has a decorative lamella 22, which can be replaced by users upon their preference, , and the decorative lamella 22 can be text or image; therefore, when a string 3 and a button base 2 are placed on the folder 1, users can view the decorative lamella 22 through the window 201 of the cover 20 of the button base, thus to identify the property of the folder 1 and enhance the appearance of the folder 1, for added value of the product.

2. Inside the base 21 of the button base 2 is a containment groove 211, which as a gap 212 at the joint with the concave rim 210, when the string 3 is placed inside the containment groove 211 of the base 21 and go through the gap 212, the limiting section 202 of the cover can be closed on the two gaps 212 of the base 21, so the string 3 is affixed inside the two gaps 212 on the side of the base 21 by the limiting section 202 of the cover 20, thus, users can move the button base 2 so that it can be moved back and forth on the string 3, allowing for flexibility in usage and meeting diverse needs.

Although the invention has been explained in relation to its preferred embodiment, it is to be understood that many other possible modifications and variations can be made without departing from the spirit and scope of the invention as hereinafter claimed.

DETAILED DESCRIPTION OF THE INVENTION

The features and the advantages of the present invention will be more readily understood upon a thoughtful deliberation of the following detailed description of a preferred embodiment of the present invention with reference to the accompanying drawings.

FIGS. 1/ show a perspective view, a partial perspective view, a partial exploded view, a partial cutaway view, and an operational view of the preferred embodiment, a perspective view of another preferred embodiment, and a partial cutaway view of another preferred embodiment. The embodiments are for explaining design only, and do not place limits on the structure in patent filing.

Referring to FIGS. 1, 2, 3, 4, which are the perspective view, partial perspective view, partial exploded view, and. partial cutaway view of the preferred embodiment, as shown, the file folder 1 has two connecting sheets 11, which has a containment space 10 between the folder 1; the containment space 10 can be stored with files inside; on the sheets 11 is a string 3, which is connected to a button base 2, which comprises a cover 20, base 21, decorative lamella 22, and protective lamella 23, of which: the cover 20 has an enclosed section 200, on the top of the cover 20 is a window 201, which is connected to the enclosed section 200, the bottom of the cover 20 has a limiting section 202, and the inner wall of the cover 20 has a raised buckle 203; the outer wall of the base 21 has a concave rim 210, on the base 21 is a containment groove 211 going across, the joining part between the containment groove 211 and concave rim 210 has a gap 212.

Of which, the decorative lamella 22 can be: picture, text, picture and text, and photo.

Of which, the protective.tamella 23 can be made with materials pervious to light, such as acrylic, plastics, glass, and PVC.

To assemble the abovementjoned button base 2, protective lamelia 23 and decorative lamella 22 are placed into the enclosed section 200 of the cover 20, so that the protective lamella 23 can be closed on the window of the cover 20, and the protective lamella 23 can protect the decorative lamella 22 for water-proof and dust-proof.

Then, the protruding buckle 203 on the inner wall of the cover 20 is hooked to the concave rim 210 of the outer wall of the base 21, so that the cover 20 and base 21 can be assembled and positioned.

On the other hand, said string 3 can be stored in the containment groove 211 of the base 21, so that the two end of the string 3 go through the two gaps 212 on the side of the base 21, and the limiting section 202 of the cover 20 is closed onto the two gaps 212 on the side of the base 21; the string 3 is then affixed to the two gaps 212 on the side of the base 21 by the limiting section 202 of the cover 20.

Based on the abovementioned structure, the operation of the present invention is detailed below: Referring to FIGS. 4, 5, which are the partial cutaway view and operational view of the preferred embodiment, as shown, after the string 3 goes through the button base 2, because the string 3 is affixed to the two gaps 212 on the side of the base 21 by the limiting section 202 of the cover 20, when the string 3 goes over the file folder 1, the folder 1 is in closed state, so that the two sheets do not bounce open; then, users can push the button base 2 along the string 3 to move the button base 2 on the string 3, so as to meet personal needs of the users.

Therefore, users can open and close the file older 1, and cut their favorite picture or text into the decorative lamella 22, then insert the decoracive lamella 22 into the button base 2, so that the decorative lamella 22 can be seen from the window 201 of the cover 20, for the button base 2 to be visually pleasing and easily identified.

Also, the decorative lamella 22 is covered with the protective lamella 23, so as to prevent the decorative lamella 22 from humidity and dirt for water-proof and dust-proof effect.

Referring to FIGS. 6, 7, which are the perspective view and partial cutaway view of another preferred embodiment, as shown, the center of the base 21 of the button base 2 has a through hole 213, which affixes a base block 24 with outer diameter smaller than the button base 2 via an axial bolt, the base block is on the bottom of the button rase 2 to support the button base 2; to use the button base 2, the two sheets 11 of the folder 1 are placed so as leaning against each other for folding state, then pulling the string 4 affixed on the sheet 11, allowing the string 4 to go through the folding part of the two sheets 11 to be affixed on the base block 214, thereby to fasten the two sheets 11 of the folder 1.

Although a few preferred embodiments have been shown and described, it will be appreciated by those skilled in the art that various changes and modifications might be made without departing from the scope of the invention, as defined in the appended claims.

Claims

1. A file folder with decorative button base, comprising two connecting sheets, each sheet can form a containment space with folder; a string and a button base connected to the string; the button base comprises a cover and base that can be assembled for positioning; of which, inside the cover is an enclosed section, and the top of the cover has a window that can be connected with the enclosed section.

2. The folder defined in Claim 1, wherein the containment space of the cover can contain a decorative lamella, which can be: image, text, image with text, or photo.

3. The folder defined in Claim 2, wherein a protective lamella pervious to light can be placed between the cover and decorative lamella.

4. The folder defined in Claim 1, 2 or 3, wherein on the base can be affixed with a containment groove for containing said string, and a gap can be set on the containment groove adjacent to the concave rim of the base; so that there is a limiting section for the gap of the base at the bottom of the cover.

5. The folder defined in Claim 4, wherein the containment groove of the base can store the string of the folder, then the button base can be moved along the string.

6. The folder defined in any preceding Claim, wherein the bottom of the base can have a base block for string to fasten.

I. The folder defined in any preceding Claim, wherein the inner wall of the cover can have a protruding buckle, so that the base can be affixed to the inside of the cover, and the outer wail of the base can have a concave rim for the protruding buckle of the cover to buckle.

8. A file folder with decorative button base substantially as described hereinbefore with reference to the accompanying drawings.
