Abstract

244,177. Bramall, E. H., and Bramall, K. B. Sept. 12, 1924. Rugs, travelling and like.-A rug for use asa crawling rug for children, a cover for a perambulator or child's push carriage, or as a rug to cover the legs of a person in a car &c. to protect them from rain, comprises a waterproof backing 2 and a face 1 of soft material or fabric, one or more figures, articles, or pictures 3 being provided at about the central portion of the rug. The figures may be formed of brightly coloured waterproof material or they may be printed upon or worked into the face 1. In some cases, the amusing devices such as toys may be applied in a readily detachable manner. The face may be sewn to the backing at 1<a> to prevent the child from damaging the rug. The edges of the waterproof backing may be turned over on to the face to prevent moisture from passing through the rug.
