Abstract
244,004. Akkerman, M. J. March 27, 1925, [Convention date]. Haymaking.-A side-delivery rake has its rake frame arranged so as to move the swath either to the right or to the left. As shown, the frame 9. on which are mounted, between two discs 6, the rakes 5, is mounted on the lower end of a vertical pivot' or shaft 10, which may be rotated through a right-angle by a lever 11. The dises 6 are rotated by gearing 21, 17, 13. The upper part of a bevel-wheel 13 is integral with a lower part driven by the bevel-wheel 14, the shaft 15. and the rear axle.
